What's this all about then?

In essence, an ancient conflict between Individualism as found mainly in Alpha-Beta quadras:

Individualism is a term used to describe a moral, political, or social outlook that stresses human independence and the importance of individual self-reliance and liberty. Individualists promote the exercise of individual goals and desires. They oppose most external interference with an individual's choices - whether by society, the state, or any other group or institution. Individualism is therefore opposed to holism, collectivism, fascism, communalism, statism, totalitarianism, and communitarianism, which stress that communal, group, societal, racial, or national goals should take priority over individual goals. Individualism is also opposed to the view that tradition, religion, or any other form of external moral standard should be used to limit an individual's choice of actions. —Wikipedia

And Collectivism promoted mainly by Gamma-Delta quadras:

Collectivism is a term used to describe any moral, political, or social outlook, that stresses human interdependence and the importance of a collective, rather than the importance of separate individuals. Collectivists focus on community and society, and seek to give priority to group goals over individual goals. The philosophical underpinnings of collectivism are for some related to holism or organicism - the view that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Specifically, a society as a whole can be seen as having more meaning or value than the separate individuals that make up that society. Collectivism is widely seen as the antipole of individualism.

Alpha

The Alpha quadra is known for bringing new ideas and ways-of-thinking into the Socion (a collection of each of the 16-types or in this context, simply society). I would like to assert that their world-view follows that of Gnosticism1 as a rough way of making the following distinctions:

  • Alpha NT "researchers" may develop or know about "secret knowledge" as a means to "escape" the current world we live in with a sharp perception of what's not "right" in the "bigger picture". Thus only though this special knowledge can they navigate the world perhaps producing audacious ideas, insights and foresights similar to the mind of a virtuous child. That is, fragile, innocent and highly sensitive to the "adult world" especially of people "set in their ways" who have little or no interest in how new knowledge can help them despite how much they embarrassingly crave it.
  • Alpha SF "socialites" may support their Alpha NT cousins with their pure and unadulterated world-views. They may appreciate them to a degree and perhaps bring a "human side" so as to best promote them. They may also have a relatively "child-like" mind searching for "truth" in their own more "down-to-earth" ways.
  • Generally I would conclude that Alpha's are quite vulnerable and at-risk due to their potential world-views which may get heavily oppressed by others who only interpret them as heresy or blasphemy. Alpha's therefore are intellectual pioneers and the real architects of society since everything must begin in the individual's mind, there is no such thing as a collective brain (unless you're a brainwashed zombie living obediently to your social masters — the Gamma/Delta quadras coming up next).
  • The photo of the baby with the laptop illustrates the idea of "pure capitalism" to me. It symbolises the child-like need to achieve something of value primarily for self and others with a naive-genial mind-set. The baby itself represents the pre-adult need to be looked after thus a paradox. What use can a baby have for money despite being a naive-genius and saving the planet from certain doom? None, until they've personally developed to a point where they can enjoy their pure and innocently earned "retirement" free from the tyranny of adults and their set-ways. We could call this a "peter-pan syndrome" which opens the debate of how useful different mental levels of maturity are in a society that needs new input to solve the problems of yesterday.

Beta

The inaugural ideas of the Alpha quadra seamlessly filter down into the Beta quadra who's role is to simply begin the marshalling and putting into action those ideas hence this quadra's native rebellious streak. So, I would assert that their world-view approximates to Agnosticism2 which basically means that they take the purity of Gnostic knowledge from Alpha and craft it like a piece of art to make workable in society.

  • Beta ST "pragmatists" indistinctly know what needs to get done and marshal themselves and others into doing it boldly and without fear. Hence the "teenage spirit" in this quadra that isn't afraid to start the next great revolution given the right incentive and knowledge that will lead society back to a meaningful path.
  • Beta NF "humanitarians" support their Beta ST cousin with motivational speeches, adventures and idiosyncratic rituals etc. They of course share the "teen-spirit" and usually know how to have a good party that will keep the brotherhood together and on-track with fulfilling the next big revolution in themselves or at large.
  • Generally I would conclude that Beta's are at most risk with the law to their rebellious streaks. Their "fighting spirits" may get a little over the top at times considering it may be unfocused or unchannelled due to a lack of meaningful direction. Therefore I could compare Beta's as the resistance movement or underground in society. My local gym is dominated with Alpha-Beta members who seem to indistinctly know why they're training in the first place (i.e. it wasn't clever marketing that attracted them to fitness), either as part of a healthy lifestyle or as a "strife of life" developer.
  • The photo of the two young people simply represents that relative to Alpha their "age" is that bit older yet not fully mature. They also share an annoyance for the "adult world" albeit with perhaps a bit more "street sense" than Alpha thus their appreciation to make money is somewhat viewed as a "necessary evil". Where Alpha's can be thinkers and (over-) analysers, Beta's are able doers and hands-on.

Gamma

As a collective force of "closet-theist" individuals the Gamma quadra have a highly judgemental and "rejection-ready" role of what they perceive as evil to likely come out of the Alpha-Beta quadras. They use their already made connections to influence the world constantly convinced they can provide a better world for tomorrow with their vast resources. I thus assert that their world-view approximates with Atheism3 in the stereotypical sense that they have a lack of morality thus allowing them to be corrupt capitalists rather than the "pure capitalist" as originally conceived back by the Alpha quadra.

  • Gamma NT "researchers" can be extremely critical of new ideas because they are only concerned whether it can be turned into something useful for profit. I would gladly accuse them of being the most shrewd and immoral types of businessmen in existence. Driven by greed and profit they can do wonders for society although with relatively little or no respect from they have to essentially exploit. However they may get an honourable knighthood or whatever for services rendered to the "corporate world" that they are native to.
  • Gamma SF "socialites" can be extremely dangerous in their conservative views and methods of the world. They absolutely can't stand to hear from an independent mind that "shakes up" their rigid view of society. However they do make wonderful "drones" for this collective. Now all we need is some coffee to keep them going throughout the day and alcohol to wash away their minds ready for another day of that wonderful thing they enjoy so much called "employment".
  • Generally I would conclude that Gamma's are hell-bent on world domination of their fellow man or woman and all resources on the planet (worst case scenario, naturally). Thus I would say that Gamma's are members of global dominions that believes in social control and over-zealous privatisation. They also create a paradox for the individualists they (kind of) seek for their establishments. They desperately need "new blood" as a revival of their old and decrepit ways though they can't stand the idea of an individualist rising up through the ranks to become the inevitable boss. Thus many companies have cunningly set-up their internal structure in such a way to either screen out potential "smart alecs" or employ them in such a way to give a false sense of hope and "equal opportunity". I've even experienced companies that suck as much knowledge as they can from me just from the job interview obviously for their exclusive use leaving me "out in the cold".
  • The photo of the manager in front of her team represents that the only individualist to remain free-to-think and influence the company directly is the one in charge. Everyone else must do as they're told or else face eviction. Its a pretty sick game and very effective at keeping potential "smart asses" at bay. Trust a stereotypical Atheist to know what's ethically correct in business, I wouldn't.

Delta

As a collective force of "closet-atheist" individuals the Delta quadra have a very conservative and supposedly wise role in response to their Gamma friends plundering the Earth's resources. They use their mystical knowledge to try and control those kinds of problems. Thus I would assert that their world-view approximates with Theism4 which allows them to use the power of God to instil fear and guilt as a form of (moral) control.

  • Delta ST "pragmatists" can make great "tools" of this collective as preachers skilled in the art of deception and manipulation of personal "truth". They make great sales people who can really draw a person in to what they have to offer which usually has a "positive thinking" bias.
  • Delta NF "humanitarians" are the emotionally influenced masterminds of this collective. They can have a corrupt use of logic influenced by personal whim and emotion rather than detached critical analysis of the world.
  • Generally I would say that Delta's have a single-minded motivation: to assimilate others into their culture and remove all sense of individuality as a means to restore the apparent chaos of "free will". Thus I would say that Delta's are members of organised religions usually impervious to their own dog's bollocks (reference to dog-ma) although harmful to other's ability to reason independently. Of course with awareness of this comes a forcefield that you can simply laugh behind whilst they "give their best shot" and trying to convert you over to their way of credulous thinking. I have personally made mistakes in my life by getting involved with some Delta types that I know of who insistently gave me yesterday's knowledge today. Got to be careful, all the collective wants is your mind because they think they have a right to it.
  • The photo of the group of people holding hands represents the kind of "positive thinking" these Delta's attempt to create by getting us all together for a glamourous "pep-talk" and doing some weird and somewhat childish things. I experienced all this at a recent NLP training course. I have later concluded that all this insanity is just a way of giving false hope to those who get assimilated by it. To someone like me who is fully aware of this "collective consciousness" I simply remain sceptical of all the apparent showmanship, misdirection and psychological babble that at the end of the day makes for good entertainment.

Conclusions

  • Alpha's are very much the scientists of new knowledge. Beta's are the forgers of knowledge making them artists. Alpha and Beta therefore have a natural working alliance together. The intertwining of Science and Art as one to achieve new world orders, ethical businesses and revitalising philosophies etc.
  • Gamma's are the capitalists of knowledge, however they came across it. Delta's are the conformists of knowledge, who try to familiarise us with it. The hybridisation of Politics and Religion as one to achieve social controls, unethical businesses and corrupting philosophies etc.
  • Individualism represents to me the (sane) mindset that "true happiness can only come from your own efforts not that of others" thus remaining naively-genial to new ideas and solutions. A very free-thinking approach towards life i.e. born to reflect then to work then to reflect and repeat ad infinitum. This translates into constant and never-ending improvement for self and society.
  • Collectivism represents to me the (insane) mindset of "we know what's best for society because there's no 'I' in team" thus no time for pure innovation and heroics, just results even those which cause global warming and other environmental catastrophes. A very slave-like attitude i.e. born to work then to reflect then back to work and repeat ad infinitum. This translates into doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
  • Collectivists from Gamma-Delta are well-known for that notorious thing called "the pyramid scheme". Known also as the strongest business structure its the reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
  • Some naive-genius from Alpha-Beta obviously invented the Multi-Level Marketing business model which like everything else to come out of purity gets distorted and given a bad name by those collectivist bad boys and their illegal pyramids. What's legal about exploitation anyhow? Oh yeah, when the other party agrees by contract. Its no wonder that MLM is known as "the most ethical way of doing business" because the capitalist is also the recipient of another capitalist i.e. when a society is purely made up of capitalists then we're all laughing wealthy all the way to "financial freedom" for anyone and everyone.
